So an Internet campaign has successfully galvanised the UK against the machine that is X-Factor (see the pun!). This is a triumph over crass commercialism in a world of commercialism. In other words, not that much of a victory… but at least we will not suffer another X-Factor song on the top 50 Christmas No.1s show next year.

However, Rage Against The Machine? To someones’ taste… not mine.
