I have used the Logik IR100 for quite some time, and liked it so much I bought a second one. It has quite a few foibles, the most annoying of which was the fact that BBC On Demand Radio shows were extremely poor ranging from poor operation to not working at all.
I believe however that I have nailed the problem. The On Demand part of the BBC uses Real Player, which seems to have a real big dependency on UPNP – not so big though that it would work a little sometimes. My particular network setup did not have a clear UPNP path to the Internet, and just enabling it on all the legs I have to the Internet gave me a 100% improvement in operation.
Now to see if I am right.
