I talked with someone at work today about being more vicious about email – comments such as:

• email is not work
• communication is not email
• escalation is not email

Now I am still an email alcoholic – I have problems admitting I have a problem, I try to deal with it but keep slipping back, try alternative messaging narcotics like IM and Twitter, and go hardcore with the blog, but I do try and I try to tell others about how to improve their use of all this messaging stuff… so I finally felt I should post a link to an excellent video from an excellent person who also admits he is not perfect but is doing a damn better than I.
