Just come back from a couple of days in London, notably for an unmentionable Birthday for my lovely Alison. Had a good time although it was stupidly hot the entire time. I would have murdered for a portable air conditioner.
Anyway, we went out to see Spamalot and it was absolutely brilliant. I was laughing out loud all the way through, although it was a little slow after the Interval for about five minutes. I can heartily recommend it. I particularly can recommend it with Sanjeev Bhaskar who introduced his own little funnies into the night, and adlibbed about the heat.
I hardly noticed the £4.80 beers and the microscopic £3 ice creams…
